Shopify
The Shopify integration keeps your store’s customers in Renotify and turns orders and abandoned checkouts into events. It’s included in every plan.
Connect
Section titled “Connect”-
Go to Settings → Integrations, choose Add integration and pick Shopify.
-
Enter your store’s domain, for example
my-store.myshopify.com, and connect by signing in to Shopify.Or paste an Admin API access token from a custom app (Shopify admin → Settings → Apps and sales channels → Develop apps), and optionally its API secret key so Renotify can verify Shopify’s webhooks.
-
Renotify subscribes to the store’s order and checkout webhooks, and starts syncing customers.
What arrives
Section titled “What arrives”| Customers | Created or updated as contacts, with their name, phone, email, order count and total spent. Shopify’s marketing opt-in is recorded as consent. |
shopify.order.created |
An event for each new order, with its details. |
shopify.checkout.abandoned |
An event when a customer leaves a checkout, with the cart and a link back to it. |
Each order and checkout is recorded once, even if Shopify sends it more than once.
Use it
Section titled “Use it”Install the Abandoned checkout automation template: it starts on shopify.checkout.abandoned, reminds the customer with their cart link, and stops when shopify.order.created arrives within three days. Or build your own automations on either event, for example an order confirmation.
A contact’s timeline shows each event with the fields it carries, which you can use in messages as {{event.field}}.
