Plans and billing

Renotify bills in three parts:

  1. Your plan: a flat price for the platform, monthly or yearly.
  2. Active contacts: an allowance each month, with a small fee for each contact beyond it.
  3. Messages: paid from a prepaid balance as you send them.

Current prices and message rates are on the pricing page.

Each plan includes everything in the one before it.

Plan Adds
Launch WhatsApp, SMS and email with fallback; the shared inbox and chatbot builder; broadcasts, templates and scheduling; automations and templates; delivery tracking and analytics; the API, events and integrations (Shopify, WooCommerce, Google Sheets, Webhook)
Growth WhatsApp Forms; AI chatbots and AI knowledge; AI template translation; HubSpot, Zoho, Mailchimp and Airtable; quick rules; automation and broadcast reports; priority support
Business Delivery monitoring and alerts; the operations view; channel, cost and send-time analytics; full message history; updates to your systems (webhooks); a third fallback channel; your own WhatsApp Cloud numbers
Agency Client workspaces; client logins; cross-client reporting; monthly client statements with your markup; your own WhatsApp Cloud or Twilio numbers per client

Plans also differ in how many stored contacts, active contacts, numbers, seats and live automations they include.

New workspaces get the Growth plan free for 14 days, with messaging credit to send real notifications. A card is collected up front so nothing is interrupted, and you’re not charged until the trial ends. Cancel any time before then.

Change plans any time under Settings → Billing. Changes take effect immediately and are prorated. Yearly plans cost ten months of the monthly price.

An active contact is anyone you send a message to, or receive one from, during a billing month. Each person counts once however many messages you exchange. Stored contacts you don’t message don’t count.

Go over your plan’s allowance and each extra contact is billed at a small rate on your next monthly invoice. Messages are never stopped. On a yearly plan, extra contacts are still billed monthly.

Messages on numbers Renotify provides are paid from a prepaid messaging balance:

  • Top up any amount from $25 under Settings → Usage.
  • Auto-recharge tops up from your default card when the balance falls below a threshold, so messages never wait. It switches off if a charge fails.
  • Each message is charged when it’s sent, at the price for its channel, destination and type. WhatsApp’s own fee is charged when the message is delivered. Inbound messages are free.
  • You’re charged only for messages the provider accepts.
  • Purchased credit doesn’t expire while you have a plan.

If the balance can’t cover a message, it’s held and sent once you top up. The balance alert warns you before you run out.

Messages on your own numbers are billed by your provider, not from the balance.

Prices include the channel’s own fees (Meta’s for WhatsApp, the carrier’s for SMS) and delivery. They depend on the channel, the destination country and the message type, and fall as your monthly volume grows. The pricing page lists them by country.

Settings → Usage shows what the workspace uses against your plan (contacts, numbers, seats, automations) and what it has sent this period, with the balance, top-ups and auto-recharge.

Settings → Billing has your plan, invoices, payment methods and every top-up.

Everything is billed in US dollars, wherever your business is. VAT is handled at checkout, including reverse charge for EU businesses.

Sending stops straight away; your data and numbers are kept so you can resubscribe. Thirty days later, numbers Renotify provides are released, auto-recharge is switched off and any remaining balance is forfeited. Request a refund of unused purchased credit before then.
