Automation templates
Automations → Start from a template lists ready-made automations. Each one comes with the messages written for every channel, sensible timing, fallbacks, a goal where it makes sense, and WhatsApp templates ready for Meta’s approval.
Installing a template:
- creates the automation as a Draft,
- submits its WhatsApp templates to Meta, which usually approves them within minutes, and
- opens it so you can adjust anything before you go live.

Each template’s page shows an example event. Send your own events with the same names and fields, or change the trigger to match the names your system already uses.
Fields the messages use
Section titled “Fields the messages use”Template messages refer to event and contact fields, such as {{event.amount}}, {{event.pay_url}} or {{contact.first_name}}. Check the example event on the template and send the same fields, or edit the messages to match yours. A placeholder with no value is left empty rather than showing braces to a customer. See Variables.
